Welcome!
My name is Emilee Sherrow-Aguilar and I am an SLP in Indianapolis, Indiana. I provide in-home services to those around the Indianapolis and Greenwood area. I also offer teletherapy to anyone living in the state of Indiana. Please look over the following information to determine if my services will fit your child's needs. Experience
I received my undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2015 and my Master's degree from Saint Mary's College in 2017. I have experience with ages 1 to 21 and have worked with the following areas: stuttering, speech sound disorders, language delays, pragmatic (social) language, Gestalt Language Processing (echolalia), moderate/severe disabilities, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Scope of Practice
I believe that every child has the right to communication and the best way to achieve that is through a strength and play-based approach. Providing services in the child's natural, home environment not only helps the child feel more comfortable but it also allows for direct collaboration with familes. Lastly, I ensure neurodiversity affirming approaches because a child does not need to be "fixed," they deserve to be supported

Gestalt Language Processing
Does your child use delayed echolalia or scripting? I am certified in using the Natural Language Acquisition framework to move your child to self-generated language.
Language Delay/Late Talker
I've been an Early Intervention (EI) provider since I graduated and I love it! Birth to three years old is the optimal time to provide support to your child's communication needs.
Speech Sound Disorders
Does your child need help producing particular speech sounds? Are they difficult to understand? Do they need more support than what they are getting at school? I use different evidence-based approaches to target the child's individual needs.
Pragmatic Language
Does your child or teen struggle with problem solving and advocating for themselves? Do they have a hard time understanding someone else's perspective or identifying their emotions? Do they often take language literally? I use neurodiversity affirming approaches to provide strategies and resources to support the child's social language skills.
